FSUM Fall Registration Starts 8/28/2015

FSUM - Frostburg State University Masters

Cost per session: $50.00 entitles you to as many of the 3 workouts per week you are able to attend.

Session 1 – August 31 – October 2
Session 2 – October 5 – November 6
Session 3 – November 9 – December 11

It is Strongly Encouraged that all FSU Masters swimmers register as members of United States Masters Swimming so that they will be eligible to compete in masters competitions throughout the year.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE IS MONDAY OF THE SECOND WEEK OF EACH SESSION. YOU ARE WELCOME TO TRY OUT THE PROGRAM FOR A WEEK TO DECIDE IF YOU WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE FULL SESSION.

Age 18 and up. Please come in swimming attire and bring a swim cap and goggles. We can provide most equipment you will need, but you are welcome to bring your own.

1st Annual Frostburg State University Masters Sprint Classic

After the last relay event of the meet, From L-R: Mere Johnson, Jerry Meyer, Shar Hollingsworth, Rebecca Rice, Justin Anderson, James Martin, Jan Burton, Abby Gernert, and Robert Hein United States Masters swimming has come to Western Maryland and the Potomac Highlands. If you are not familiar with U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS) it was founded in 1970 and supports more than 1,000 adult swim programs across the United States with more 50,000 individual members ranging in age from 18 to over 100.   On the local level, most USMS swim programs offer structured practices and training assistance from trained swim coaches. Pool and open-water races provide opportunities to compete and measure individual progress at the local, state, national and international levels. USMS programs also offer stroke and technique clinics, workshops, instruction, and social functions, USMS programs draw people from all walks of life and provide their members with a community that offers active suppor
